What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

 

Session, Social, or Rental Requests and Member Interest Forms

If you submit a session, social, or rental request (or we submit a session, social, or rental request on your behalf), or a member interest form(s), we collect the data you provide via those forms for the sole purpose of processing your session, social, or rental request.

For session or social requests, we thoroughly review the requests and the member interest form to ensure that you are extremely compatible with the natural interests of the staffer that you are visiting, as our staffers only participate in legal BDSM and Fetish activities that they enjoy.

For rental requests, we thoroughly review the request and the member interest form(s) so that we can ensure that the studio is properly prepped for your rental prior to your arrival, to ensure that your first-visit tour focuses on your areas of interest, and to ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and skills for your private rental activities.

 

Live Chat, Email, Phone, and Text Message

If you contact us via live chat, email, phone, or text message, we are forced to collect basic information by virtue of your contacting us:

• Live Chat – Name (optional), Email address (optional), IP Address, OS Device, and Browser
  • In addition, you may elect to provide us with additional information to assist you with a session, social, or rental request.
• Email – Email Address, Sending IP, and any other information included in an email header.
• Phone – Phone number
• Text Message – Phone number

Comments on Our Blog

If you leave a comment on our blog,  we are forced to collect basic information by virtue of posting a comment:

• Name (optional)
• Email address
• IP address (spam detection)
• Browser (spam detection)

Media

Currently, we do not permit members or prospective members to upload any type of media to the site.

Absent your express permission (e.g., reference requests for when you visit other BDSM/Fetish professionals) or a valid court order (which has never happened), we share NONE of your personally identifiable information (name, email address, phone number, etc.) with anyone other than active members of the Studio Sanctuary staff.

 

How Long We Retain Your Data

For administrative, legal, or security purposes, we retain all data (session, social, or rental requests, member interest form(s), emails, text messages, etc.) indefinitely.  This maximizes our ability to provide our prospective and active members with the best possible customer service.

If you leave a blog comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.  All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).  Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

 

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have requested a session, social, or rental (whether you became a member or not), you can request to receive a copy of the personal data that you submitted via session, social, or rental requests, member interest forms, live chats, emails, and text messages (if we still have them).

You can request that we delete any blog comments that you have made (which you can delete yourself) or your website account necessary to make blog comments (which you can delete yourself).

 

Where We Send Your Data

Blog comments are checked through an automated spam detection service.  We do not send your data to any third-party services unless you request it (e.g., an electronic invoice).
