9/27/2026 at 2:26 AM ET – We have identified two plugins that are conflicting with the current live chat version.  The one plugin is website critical, and they have released an emergency patch for the latest WordPress release.  The other plugin is not website-critical and has been disabled.  Live chat functionality is fully restored.

9/26/2026 at 1:35 PM ET – We have eliminated our WordPress theme as the source of the conflict with our live chat.  With our live chat service provider and WordPress support specialist, we are currently enabling and disabling WordPress plugins to identify the problematic plugin(s).  Since we have so many plugins running and everyone is concerned that the problem is due to two or more plugins being active at the same time, this will take many hours to go through all the iterations.  Our website will intermittently lose some functionality during that time, but will still always be navigable.

9/25/2026 at 4:10 AM ET – Our live chat provider installed the hot fix, which resolved part of the problem, but isolated the rest to either a conflict with an installed WordPress plugin or with our theme, with a plugin conflict much more likely.  We’ll be methodically testing the plugins and theme for conflicts this afternoon.  Unfortunately, we cannot turn off live chat; otherwise, we’ll never know if we have found the conflicting issue.  We continue to email members back who have visited live chat since Wednesday.

9/24/2026 at 12:30 PM ET – The live chat issue is only partially resolved, and we still cannot respond to live chats.  A hot fix will be delivered late this evening (or early tomorrow) by our live chat service provider.

9/24/2026 at 12:21 PM ET – As of 12:15 PM ET, the live chat issue has been resolved with an emergency patch.  Please be patient while we get back to everyone who contacted us via live chat.

9/23/2026 at 6:23 AM ET – As of 4:00 AM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the latest scheduled live chat update broke our live chat.  Our live chat vendor has identified the problem in the update, and they will have a fix for us sometime on Thursday, September 24, 2026, or Friday, September 25, 2026.  This post will be updated once the issue has been resolved.  Our apologies!
